Creative Mornings at PRPL

Last Friday, roughly 75 Orlandonians streamed into the PRPL office for this month’s edition of CreativeMornings with hungry minds and bellies. After an assembly line of Latin Square cuban breakfast and too many coffee refills, we all enjoyed the sold-out presentation by talented artist and friend, Andrew Spear.

With the theme being “Backwards” for all CreativeMornings events this month around the globe, Andrew took us through his personal and professional timeline, touching on the many unseemly tactics he’s attempted throughout his career. This discussion served as a PSA of sorts -- to stick to your passion and just be tenacious, no matter in which order you go. However, we wouldn’t recommend painting a mural with the objective to get sued by Van Halen. That’s really backwards.

If you have yet to attend one of these monthly breakfast lectures, do yourself a favor. It’s free, it’s delicious, and it’s inspiring. We hope to host again in the future. Definitely worth getting out of bed early.
