What do you do here?
I dance, I eat the chocolate, and I write the codes for the things as an engineer.
If you were a kitchen utensil, what would you be?
A blender, because my milkshake brings all the ladies to the yard.
Coolest place you’ve ever been?
Coolest place I’ve been to is Caye Caulker in Belize. That little island had a population of only 1,300, and there were no motor vehicles anywhere. Pure relaxation!
Pancakes or waffles?
Waffles 4eva.
Which TV show is most representative of your experience of adolescence?
Can I say The O.C.? Or LOST
What's the best perk at PRPL?
PRPL’s best perk is the summer Friday hours. My time is invaluable, so getting an extra bit of time off during these months is super appreciated.
Tell us about a time you were on stage.
I was 16, and there was this fitness ball. I danced on it (seriously) in front of a little more than 1,000 students. Trust me, there’s a video floating around Facebook of it.
Best advice you’ve ever been given?
More of a pep talk, but still tremendous.
If you could get stuck playing one game on one video console for the rest of your life, which would they be?
Easy. Streets of Rage 2 on a Sega Genesis.
Coding language of choice and why?
JavaScript — I love JavaScript because of the versatility of the language. If you’re well-versed in JavaScript, as I’m constantly trying to be, you can really add value to a project. JavaScript is fun, because it’s not limiting to the front- or back-end of a development project. It's a language that lets you do both!
